One of Sedona, Arizona's most iconic locations finally captured after many hours of waiting to double expose without ever moving tripod/camera. Much planning and many dry runs to capture this alignment of Catherdral Rock with the Milky Way at a time of year when it starts to rise in a vertical position. My only interruption was a group of an UFO watcher tour that started to set up their group directly in front of me!! After some discussion they were nice enough to relocate, thankfully, as I had already been there several hours with the first half of the exposure completed.
